About Me

Since 2010, I've approached performing arts production work with the training of a systems engineer. From stage management to design to technical direction, my work has supported projects of varying scope and complexity.

I've had the pleasure to work on projects with Goodspeed Musicals, SpeakEasy Stage Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company,
and the Huntington Theatre Company, among many other theatre companies in New England. Favorite projects include stage managing Bad Habit Productions' Gross Indecency (IRNE award - Best Fringe Production), technical direction for Company One Theatre's The Flick (Elliot Norton awards - Outstanding Design, Outstanding Production), and supporting production of the debut of Sally Taylor's   Consenses Festival on Martha's Vineyard.

Most recently I have supported the performing arts program at Merrimack College, providing technical direction and mentorship for academic productions of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,  The Wolves, and The Addams Family. As Technical Director for Gloucester Stage Company in 2015, I built productions of Sweet and Sad, Out of Sterno, The New Electric Ballroom, and The Flick. I was previously Associate Production Manager with Company One Theatre, a role that included assisting in technical direction for Astro Boy & the God of Comics, We Are Proud to Present..., Splendor, and How We Got On.

Select design credits include scenic for The Goat...or, Who is Sylvia? ("Parker's set is incredible" - MetroBoston),   Urinetown, and Six Degrees of Separation; lighting for Pippin, Guys and Dolls, 13: the musical,  and The Phantom Lady (assisting LD Justin Townsend).

I've supervised and taught student tech crews at the middle school, high school, and college level; with Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Northeastern University, Merrimack College, Concord Academy, and Burlington,   Wilmington, and Wakefield Public Schools.

During the academic year, I teach in the science department and performing arts program at Pingree School, an independent day school in South Hamilton, MA.
