About Me

Since 2010, I've  approached live performing arts production work with the training of a systems engineer. From stage management to lighting design,  my  work  has supported projects of varying scope and complexity.

I've had the pleasure to work on projects with Goodspeed Musicals, SpeakEasy Stage Company,
and the Huntington Theatre Company, among many other theatre companies in New England.  Favorite work includes stage managing Bad Habit Productions'   Gross Indecency (IRNE award - Best Fringe Production) and technical direction for Company One Theatre's The Flick (Elliot Norton awards - Outstanding Design, Outstanding Production).

As Technical Director for Gloucester Stage Company in 2015, I built  productions of Sweet and Sad, Out of Sterno, The New Electric Ballroom, and The Flick. I was previously Associate Production Manager with Company One Theatre, a    role that included assisting in technical direction for Astro Boy & the God of Comics,   We Are Proud to Present..., Splendor, and How We Got On.

Design  credits include scenic for The Goat...or, Who is Sylvia? ("Parker's set  is incredible" - MetroBoston),   and Six Degrees of Separation; lighting for Pippin, Guys and Dolls, The Phantom Lady (assisting Justin Townsend).

I've supervised and taught student tech crews at the middle school, high school, and college level; with Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Northeastern University, Concord Academy, and  Burlington,    Wilmington, and Wakefield Public Schools.

As a faculty member in the College of Engineering at Northeastern University, I currently volunteer the skill base gained from my work   to non-profit arts and education organizations centering social change in their missions.
